After growing up in Chicago I went to SIU. It was directly from SIU in 1987 that I traveled to Georgia with my Father and we opened Carnetts’ carwashes (now Mr. Clean Carwash). This began a long career in the Carwash industry covering retail car washing, equipment and chemical distribution, modular carwash building manufacturing, franchising and developing. It has been a great deal of fun growing up in an industry full of great people and exciting changes. The Genesis Modular Building business has been especially exciting due to the unique nature of the offering. Being able to bring a completed carwash down the highway and delivering to an end user in a matter of days was something that had never been done before. I still get excited attending the delivery of one of our buildings.
I live in Georgia, just north of Atlanta with my wife Elaine. We have two girls Giorgi and Carli and their dogs. We love to snow ski and go to the beach. In fact, we switch off each year with our family vacation going from Sun then Snow. We have a love for classic cars and rarely pass up a car show in the area. I think it is amazing to see the artistic talent and skills of the people who restore these old beauties.
Additionally, I enjoy building our company, a company with such an amazing group of men and women. We have been at it for many years and it is really fun to have such great history with such accomplished people.
