As Chief Executive Officer, Shawn is responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the Genesis process reflects the goals and needs of our client base.
Prior to assuming his current role, Shawn was the Lead Engineer and Designer, responsible for design implementation, research, development and compliance. During this time, he streamlined the Genesis design process by utilizing the latest in BIM software to improve the turn-around time for designs and to help forecast and resolve issues before they became problems for our customers.
Shawn began his career with Genesis Modular Carwash Building Systems in 2004 after serving as the Engineering Manager for our design partner. During that tenure, Shawn spent 9 years working his way through the company ranks, starting off his design career as a junior draftsman while still in college.
Shawn is from Conyers, GA and received his Bachelors of Engineering for Georgia Tech (Go Jackets!). He has been intrigued with transportation since an early age as a railfan. His first car was a 1968 Dodge Charger that he worked to rebuild before he even had a driver’s license; he’s on a constant pursuit to replace his first love.
